InstaAstro – InstaAstro, a leading online astrology platform, has raised ₹18.50 crores in a Pre Series A round led by Artha Venture Fund.

Betel Leaf – Betel Leaf, India’s first FSSAI-certified online paan company has raised USD 1.2 Million in a Bridge Round led by Inflection Point Ventures & Venture Catalysts.

Matel – Matel, a manufacturer of electric vehicle (EV) components such as motor control units and power trains, has raised $4 million in a funding round led by Transition Venture Capital.

Stupa Sports Analytics – In its pre-Series A funding round, which was led by Centre Court Capital and PeerCapital, sportstech firm Stupa Sports Analytics has secured INR 28 crore.

15 May 2024, Wednesday – Funding News

Celcius Logistics – Series B funding led by current investor IvyCap Ventures has brought in Rs 40 crore ($4.8 million) for domestic aggregator Celcius Logistics, which offers end-to-end cold-chain solutions.

Red.Health – A smart medical response startup Red.Health, which also sends ambulances, has secured $20 million in Series B funding, which is a combination of debt and equity.

Infurnia – Cloud-native design software startup Infurnia has raised a $1.2 million funding round from a host of individuals and companies. 

Madras Mandi – Madras Mandi, a renowned name in the world of fresh produce recently announced a successful fundraising of INR 3 crores through Klub, Asia’s leading Revenue Based Financing Platform.

DrinkPrime – DrinkPrime, a subscription-based reverse osmosis (RO) water supplier, has secured $3 million from SIDBI Venture Capital Ltd. (SVCL). 

Sprect – Sprect, a C2C consulting marketplace has secured INR 50 lakhs in Angel funding from seasoned industry veteran, Siddarth (Sid) Shetty, Chief Business Development Officer at Service Channel.

Tredence – Tredence, a multinational provider of AI and data science solutions, named Munjay Singh its new COO.

Venturi – Growth equity company Venturi Partners has acquired a $ 27 million stake in K12 Techno Services from Navneet Learning LLP, a division of Navneet Education Limited.

Treacle – Treacle, a cybersecurity startup has raised INR 4 Crores in a pre-seed round led by Inflection Point Ventures. The funds will be utilised to enhance technical and business development, marketing and office expenses, partnerships, and expansion in the Indian market.

IIT Madras – Indian Institute of Technology Madras (IIT Madras) has raised Rs. 513 Crore in funding from its alumni, industry, and individual donors during the financial year 2023-24.

Atlan – AI startup Atlan has raised a $105 million Series C funding round, led by GIC, Singapore’s sovereign wealth fund, along with co-investor Meritech Capital, early backers of disruptors like Snowflake and Datadog.

Wednesday, 08 May 2024 – Startups Funding News

Atomgrid – In its seed round, funded by Merak Ventures, Atomgrid, a platform for manufacturing and sourcing high-quality specialty chemicals, has secured Rs 10 crore, or about $1.2 million.

Myelin Foundry – SIDBI Venture Capital Limited (SVCL) invested $4 million to the latest fundraising round for Myelin Foundry, a deep tech AI business. Subh Labh, Pratithi Investment Trust, and Endiya Partners are among the other investors.

Knit – Knit, a Bengaluru-based software startup, has secured $1 million in its initial investment round, which was led by Endiya Partners. Axilor Ventures and undisclosed angel investors also contributed to the round.

Regrip Funding News – Re-engineered tyre startup Regrip has raised $2 million to transform the tire recycling market in India. IIMA Ventures, Regrip’s original investor, successfully exited the company with this fundraising round as well.

Select Brands Funding News – JITO Incubation Centre (JIC), part of JITO Incubation and Innovation Foundation (JIIF), incubated Select Brands, has secured INR 6.5 crore in its Pre-Series A funding round.

50Fin Funding News – Fintech startup 50Fin has raised $550,000 in its most recent investment round, which was led by Nitin Gupta and Arali Ventures.

QUE Funding News – The prominent Indian cricket player Shikhar Dhawan and eyewear startup QUE established a strategic partnership. In addition to becoming an investor, Shikhar also becomes a partner and brand ambassador for QUE.

Dexif Funding News – RTP Global, an early-stage venture fund, invested $4 million in the first institutional fundraising round of fixed income investment platform Dexif.

Esports Funding News – TalkEsport, India’s leading esports media platform, announced today the successful closure of its pre-series A funding round, securing a significant investment of $1 million from Saswat Ventures.

Jaipur Watch Company Funding News – Luxury watch microbrand Jaipur Watch Company has raised revenue-based funding from Klub totaling Rs 1.35 crore.

Assert AI Funding News – Assert AI has raised INR 30 Cr (about $4 Mn) in a Series A round-headed by Ramesh Hariharan of Latent View, Prashant Purker of ICICI Venture, Arya.ag, and others.

PointO Funding News – Equirus InnovateX Fund (EIF) leads seed investment round in Lithium Battery Ecosystem startup PointO, marking this as their first investment from the fund. EIF led the round with an investment of INR 5 crores, from the total INR 6.2 crores raised in this round.

IvyCap Ventures Funding News – IvyCap Ventures, an early-stage startup capital firm, has declared that the third fund’s final closing was at Rs 2,100 crores. The company intends to invest via this fund in roughly 25 early-stage firms, with an average initial investment of Rs 30–50 crore.
