The Pant Project, a direct-to-consumer (D2C) fashion brand that specialises in custom-made and ready-to-wear trousers for all occasions, has secured $4.25 million in a series-A round.
Additionally, veteran angels such as Arjun Vaidya, Avni Biyani, Nikhil Bhandarkar, and Vijay Taparia participated in the round, in addition to prominent investors MGA Ventures, Huddle, Dexter Ventures, and Indian Silicon Valley. Additionally, Dexter Capital Advisors served as The Pant Project’s exclusive financial advisor during this transaction.

Sorin Investments, a venture capital fund established by former KKR India CEO Sanjay Nayar, is the lead investor in the startup’s inaugural institutional funding round, which recently concluded at Rs 1,350 crore.
The Pant Project is a digitally native brand founded by Dhruv Toshniwal and Udit Toshniwal with the objective of offering custom-made trousers to accommodate all body sizes in India. In 2023, it implemented an omnichannel strategy and expanded its product line to include ready-to-wear trousers. The brand offers a wide selection of trousers in over 250 designs, including formals, chinos, jeans, cargos, joggers, power stretch knit trousers, luxury linens, and wool, in addition to options for both men and women. It is worth noting that Dhruv and Udit are descendants of the Banswara Syntex family, a publicly traded company with a 50-year history of textile manufacturing.
The Pant Project’s website is the most prevalent sales channel, accounting for 65% of its total sales. Additionally, it maintains an extensive presence on online marketplaces like Amazon and Myntra, in addition to brick-and-mortar stores in Bengaluru and Mumbai.
