Orbicular Pharmaceutical Technologies Private Limited has received an undisclosed equity stake of about $20 million from the healthcare-focused private equity fund Tata Capital Healthcare Fund.
The funding will be used by the Hyderabad-based company to accelerate the pipeline’s development for new products.

Orbicular is a specialised pharmaceutical firm that specialises in complicated generics. Its products include ocular suspensions, nasal and inhalation delivery, injectable formulations, injector device-based peptides, and complex iron colloidal systems.
Tata Capital Healthcare Fund is a growth-oriented investment business focused on the healthcare and lifesciences industry. With the involvement of 18 companies and the exit of six of them, it has raised almost $200 million in two funds. TCHF has made investments in six businesses so far.
