Contemporary ayurvedic brand, Blue Nectar has raised Rs 10 Crore in its pre- Series A funding round from a group of marquee investors.

Many investors including Alok Bansal (Co-founder and Exec Vice Chairman Policy Bazaar), Mohit Saxena (Co-founder, InMobi), Sachi Thomas (Executive VP and Director, Nestle Nutrition), Vijay Nehra (Finance and Investor Relations, Indiabulls), Alpesh Shah (Sr Partner and MD, BCG India), Raj Nair (Chairman, Avalon Consulting), and Sudhanshu Vats (Deputy MD Pidilite Industries Limited), also invest in this round.

The startup plans to use the funds for marketing – towards acquiring and retaining customers and building an organization team, and also expanding its product range across different sectors.

Gurgaon-based Blue Nectar was founded in 2020 by Kapil Dhameja and Sanyog Jain, it is a D2C contemporary ayurvedic startup which provides wellness and beauty products for men and women in a variety of pain oils, Aeromatic massage oils, green tea, face creams and serum etc.

Blue Nectar's portfolio now expands to 80+ different products in different categories, which are also sold across the world.

“In order to transport customers into a sensual realm of luxury, each product at Blue Nectar has been painstakingly developed and designed to have natural hedonistic scents, silky smooth textures, and gorgeous packaging. All of Blue Nectar’s products are safe to use while yet being highly effective, have elegant packaging, and smell divine”, said, Sanyog Jainm, co-founder, Blue Netoar.

He further said, “In addition, none of our products includes any mineral oils, hazardous chemicals, or preservatives. We are a transparent brand since all ingredients on the package are listed openly and assist the consumer in making educated choices.”

Kapil Dhameja stated, “We can proudly state that Blue Nectar products have a High Herb Quotient since we use more than 150 high-quality herbs in them. A product’s herb quotient can be used to rapidly determine how many pure active herbs are present and how successful a product is.”
