Dhruv Kohli’s Brilliant Idea Made Him A Successful Entrepreneur Through Boba Bhai, Whose Valuation Is Rs. 50 Cr.

Meet Dhruv Kohli, who persevered despite failing twice, and today he was named a Forbes 30 under 30 Asia 2023 honoree, recognising his contributions to the industry and entrepreneurial accomplishments.

Let’s begin the journey of Dhruv Kohli

Dhruv completed his schooling at Arthur Phillip High School in 2014. He obtained his bachelor’s degree in business management from 2014 to 2017 at Western Sydney University. He did an MBA in Finance and Investment Management in 2018–2019 at UNSW, Australia’s global university. During college, Dhruv was awarded the Dean’s Merit List Award and the Dean’s Scholarship Award, with over $100,000 in scholarships issued by Western Sydney University.

After graduating from college, Dhruv had a brilliant idea about his startup, Boba Bhai. 

What is Boba Bhai? 

In 2023, Dhruv launched his startup, Boba Bhai, India’s leading bubble tea brand, which was established in Bangalore and has won the hearts of tea lovers all over the country. Boba Bhai provides unique bubble tea and other products with different flavours in an attractive presentation, as well as focusing on sustainable and eco-friendly packaging to promote a green future.

Boba Bhai, which presently has 25 locations in cities including Bengaluru, Delhi, Gurugram, Hyderabad, and Chennai. Boba Bhai employs around 200 people, including kitchen staff.

In India, 72% of people relish tea every day, and Dhruv wants to provide their service around the nation. That’s why Dhruv recently raised funding of Rs 12.5 crore to expand to 100 outlets within the next 12 months. “Our goal is to expand in tier-1 cities within the next six months and then go to tier-2 and tier-3 cities,” founder Dhruv Kohli said.

Prior to Boba Bhai, Dhruv had failed in two ventures but didn’t lose hope and achieved success by building a company with a valuation of 50 crore.
