Ashutosh Pratihast was born in Bihar's Sitamarhi district and brought up in Delhi, India.
In childhood, Ashutosh was an extremely mischievous boy, and due to this behavior, his mother started to suffer from depression. On the doctor's advice, they moved to Delhi, and at this time, Ashutosh was around 6 years old.
Everything was going well. But when Ashutosh was in 10th grade, his father lost his job due to his poor financial conditions. He started teaching guitar for Rs 4000.
After completing his schooling, he realized that he needed to work, and, at the age of 19, he joined the Vodaphone call center, where he was paid Rs 6,000. However, after just 7 days, he received an offer from another office for a position at Rs 14,000 per month. Soon he realized that self-development is crucial, and he started working on himself by reading books and watching good content on YouTube that led him toward becoming a successful entrepreneur.
An entrepreneur's journey started
After learning skills and working on himself, Ashutosh wanted to share these skills with college students. That’s why he convinced the principal of his college, saying that "Every year, 1 crore students graduate all over India, and it's practically not possible for any government or private sector to create more than 25 lakh jobs, and this is also increasing underemployment and unemployment. If we really want to make people successful, then we will have to focus on their skill development.” The principal allowed him, and after that, he took part in many events and sessions, teaching skills to more than 1000 students.
Furthermore, Ashutosh started making videos on YouTube and Instagram. Gradually, people started liking his content. During Covid, he wrote an e-book on his 3 years experience where he earned around Rs 9 lakhs by selling this e-book.
One day he asked a question to himself that, “what is the reason of my success?”
He got the answer: the power of skills. Soon, Ashutosh realized that everyone is studying, but not everyone has skills. And to solve this problem, he launched his startup, IDigitalpreneur, an Ed-Tech platform that offers skill development courses related to career development, entrepreneurship, skill enhancement, and many more. Till now, 1,20,000 students have been trained by this platform.
This is how solving an issue, Ashutosh Pratihast became a successful entrepreneur and built a Rs 100 crore-worth company.
