As per the “Beyond E-commerce 3.0” study conducted by Kalaari Capital, the Indian e-commerce landscape has witnessed a significant influx of at least 50 million new users in the past two years, largely due to the rapid digitization resulting from the pandemic. Furthermore, India is projected to have 1.1 billion internet users by 2025, with 30% of them expected to participate in online shopping. This presents a significant opportunity for D2C merchants, who are predicted to achieve $50 billion in sales by 2025.

Under its D2C Simplified program, Simpl is fostering a nascent Direct-to-Consumer (D2C) ecosystem as part of its community outreach efforts. Simpl currently collaborates with more than 26,000 merchants throughout the country. As a means of empowering this ecosystem, Simpl’s Booster Package has been working in partnership with associated businesses.
