Digital fitness company Portl disclosed that it has raised $3 million (around INR 25 crore) in an undisclosed funding round supported by the Bharat Innovation Fund.
The company secured seed funding from Kalaari Capital earlier in June 2021.

After appearing on Shark Tank India, Portl is the most recent startup to raise capital. Peyush Bansal, Namita Thapar, and Aman Gupta pledged support to the firm when it offered their product for the second season of the reality TV show in 2023. Even though the three “Sharks” had promised to spend INR 1.5 crore, it is unclear if the company ever closed the deal.
In addition to real-time form feedback, health monitoring, and telemedicine connections, Portal’s Smart Mirror boasts a 43-inch 4K screen, embedded biosensors, HD cameras, and edge-AI processing with Wi-Fi and Bluetooth connectivity.
