Strawcture Eco a wholesale building materials company has raised $375000 funds in its seed funding round from Social Alpha, Villgro Innovations foundation and Brigade REAP.

In this funding round Rahul Talwar director of DLF Family Office And HNI also participated.

Founded in 2018 by civil Engineer Shriti Pandey, strawcture Eco is a green Building product company which manufacture Bio materials for makes living spaces more sustainable and accessible for all.

“The waste of one industry can serve as the raw materials for others.Keeping this concept in mind we redefine the value chain of building materials and adopt an approach which is in harmony with nature.” The company said.

The company claims that our model is based on circular Economy approach that reduces stubble burning, alleviates farmer’s income and create green jobs.

“We are a green building material company focused on using alternative fibres to wood and other carbon-intensive raw materials to make value-added products. Our partnership with Social Alpha, Villgro Innovations Foundation, and Brigade REAP is aligned to our vision of building a circular economy-based decentralised manufacturing model that uses 100 percent natural fibres to make our products and boosts livelihoods of local farmers,” said Shriti Pandey, CEO of Strawcture Eco.

Strawcture Eco’s main mission to provide 100% Biobased composite panels made from agri residue to reduce the embodied carbon footprint of the built environment.

In spite of the Covid 19 pandemic, the company says that its total revenue has grown 100% in the last 2 years. The company has services in more than 11 cities with ICIC infrastructure, Jayadev Hospital, Heritage Experiential international school, and SELCO foundation for her healthcare projects.
