Indian cricketer Ajinkya Rahane invested an unidentified amount in the dairy substitute business OATEY. Rahane was also chosen to serve as the startup’s brand ambassador as part of the business deal.

Ankush Jamadagni, a co-founder of OATEY, stated that the investment will be used to expand brand awareness for the company’s plant-based dairy substitutes. Additionally, the funds will be used to launch new products, grow into the offline market, and make important hirings, as reported by Inc42.com
