Swiggy and Apna Join Forces to Generate 10,000 Local Employment Opportunities for Instamart in 2023

By 2029–2030, the delivery workforce is expected to grow to over 23.5 million people, according to industry forecasts. Swiggy has partnered with Apna, employment, and professional networking platforms to develop 10,000 hyperlocal opportunities in deeper Bharat for its rapid commerce grocery service, Instamart, in 2023. This collaboration aims to enhance Swiggy’s delivery workforce in tier 2 cities.

According to industry reports, the delivery workforce is projected to reach approximately 23.5 million by 2029-30. To strengthen its delivery team in tier 2 cities, Swiggy has teamed up with Apna, jobs, and professional networking platforms, to create 10,000 hyperlocal opportunities in deeper Bharat for its quick commerce grocery service, Instamart, in 2023, as per reported by BW Disrupt.

Commenting on their partnership, Nirmit Parikh, Founder and CEO, apna said, “We are delighted to partner with Swiggy as it shares our mission of empowering people to attain financial independence and become self-sufficient. With opportunities for delivery partners emerging in deeper pockets of the country, we aim to bridge the demand-supply gap for Swiggy and generate more job opportunities in the coming months.”

The collaboration between apna and Swiggy is an example of the effectiveness of this approach.
