Growth PE (private equity) platform Singularity Growth has committed investments in one firm and announced five investments totaling Rs 400 crore in five other enterprises.
Singularity Growth, a private equity (PE) firm, has made investments totaling about Rs 400 crore in five different companies: Edville DC, Lohum, Qucev, Akshayakalpa, and Classic Legend.
The funds come from the recently established Singularity Growth Opportunities Fund II, which has a Rs 2,000 crore capital. The fund focuses on new market opportunities in some industries, such as manufacturing, consumer goods, and enterprise software.
According to a release from the investment business, Singularity’s fund allocation strategy calls for allocating up to 40–50% of the corpus to growth-stage companies, up to 20–30% to late-stage organisations, and up to 20% to early growth stage companies, as reported by business.outlookindia.com.
