Mr. Sumit Gera has been appointed CEO of India Business Park by CapitaLand Investment Limited (CLI), effective May 16, 2024.
In his new position, Gera will lead CLI’s expansion strategy in India by spearheading measures to expand the company’s portfolio of business parks.

Before joining CLI, Gera oversaw Partners Group AG’s real estate assets in Australia and India for private equity.
In line with CLI’s succession planning, Mr Gera has taken over for Mr Gauri Shankar Nagabhushanam, who was named CEO (Designate) of CapitaLand India Trust (CLINT), the first property trust in Asia with an emphasis on India that is listed in Singapore, as reported by cxotoday.
Around August 2024, Mr. Nagabhushanam will take over as CEO of CLINT, replacing Mr. Dasgupta. This is so that they can collaborate in the transfer of responsibilities while maintaining leadership continuity.

Sumit has extensive experience in portfolio management and investments. With Gauri’s expertise in investment, development, operations and fund management across diversified asset classes, we are confident that he will further grow CLINT’s portfolio and maximise returns for unitholders. Together as a team, we will strengthen CLI’s position as a leading real asset manager and deliver long-term value for our stakeholders.”
