Climate Detox, along with a few angel investors, spearheaded the pre-seed round of funding for climate solutions firm BNZ Green, which raised $100,000.
This appears to be the startup’s first funding from Mumbai. According to BNZ Green, the company intends to use the money for marketing campaigns and platform development.
Established in 2023 by Ashish and Neha Jain, BNZ Green offers carbon footprint accounting solutions to both individuals and businesses.

The main offering of the platform, BNZ X, is a blockchain-powered carbon credit marketplace to change the carbon credit industry. With its tools for carbon footprint accounting, BNZ Green helps businesses and individuals around the world make the shift to a net-zero carbon economy.
The Mumbai-based company claims that it will implement strategies that will include digital campaigns, strategic partnerships, and a multifaceted approach across online and offline channels in order to improve brand visibility and engage with the target audience. With carbon credits, BNZ Green assists businesses in implementing realistic climate mitigation strategies. The other big names in this field are Climes Inc., Solinas Integrity, IAP, Bengaluru-based Carbon Masters, et al.
