Following the theft of assets valued at USD 230 million from WazirX’s multi-sig wallet, the cryptocurrency company has introduced a bounty program to retrieve the stolen monies.
The initial bounty amount was USD 11.5 million, however, it has since been increased to USD 23 million.
The cryptocurrency business is soliciting assistance from ethical hackers, blockchain forensics specialists, and cybersecurity experts in order to retrieve the funds.

Participants will be required to monitor and give actionable intelligence that results in the freezing of the funds. The prizes for this will amount to a maximum of USD 10,000 in USDT value. In addition, the recovery procedure will necessitate the involvement of ethical hackers and specialists, who will be compensated with an incentive equal to 10% of the sum that is recovered.
