Debjani Ghosh has resigned from her position as President of the National Association of Software and Service Companies (Nasscom), and Rajesh Nambiar is expected to take over as her successor.
Formerly, Nambiar held the position of Chairman and Managing Director at Cognizant India.
In April 2018, she assumed the role of President at Nasscom and served in this capacity for almost six years. Prior to this, she held the position of a Member of the India Advisory Board at Cisco from 2017 to 2018.
Previously, she held multiple positions at Intel Corporation from 2005 to 2017, including jobs such as SEA Marketing Manager, Malaysia Country General Manager, Director of Intel South East Asia, Managing Director of South Asia, and Vice President of SMG.

Nambir served as Chairman and President of Ciena India from May 2019 to October 2020. Prior to that, he held multiple positions at IBM for more than 12 years, including Vice President and General Manager, General Manager, General Manager and Managing Partner for ASEAN, and General Manager and Global Leader for IBM Application Services.
