The furniture store Furnishka secured a total of Rs 45 crore in capital through a pre-Series A funding round headed by IndiaQuotient, totaling Rs 27 crore. Sparrow Capital and two angel investors, Sujeet Kumar and Ramakant Sharma, who are co-founders of Udaan, also participated in the round.
The additional funding will be put toward improving product research and design, strengthening supply chain and production capacities, and expanding to new areas.

“Our supply chain optimization efforts have enabled us to offer products at 20% below market averages for entry-level furniture and 30-40% less for premium options, without compromising on quality. This efficiency has led to high customer satisfaction, with many customers returning for repeat purchases and referring others,” said Ganesh Pawar, Founder of Furnishka.
The business also plans to produce instructional materials to assist clients in making knowledgeable choices about home furnishings.
