The Top Indian Startups Funding Roundup of This Week

Yubi 

Loan distribution and management platform Yubi has raised Rs 411 crore (around $46.3 million) in a new funding round.

The fintech company raised the new funding through a combination of long-term structured debt and equity. EvolutionX Debt Capital has committed up to ₹336 crore (about $38 million), while founder and CEO Kumar has invested another ₹75 crore (around $8.5 million). With this, his total personal equity investment has crossed ₹330 crore.

AgroStar 

Agritech startup AgroStar has raised $30 million in equity funding round led by the environment-focused investment firm Just Climate. 

 The round also saw participation from existing backers Aavishkaar India, Bertelsmann, Evolvence India, Chiratae Ventures and Hero Enterprises.

Tractor Junction

Rural-focused digital marketplace Tractor Junction has raised $22.5 Mn (around INR 200 Cr), in a mix of equity and debt, as part of its Series A funding round led by Europe-based global impact fund Astanor.

The round also saw participation from existing backers Info Edge Ventures and Omnivore.

LOHUM 

Delhi-based LOHUM, a battery tech startup, is set to raise Rs 131.4 crore (about $15 million) in a pre-Series C funding round led by Growth I9 Opportunity LLP.

The round also saw participation from existing investors, including Baring Private Equity, Singularity Growth, Asiana Fund, and others.

Pidge 

Pidge, a logistics SaaS startup has raised Rs 120 crore in its Series A funding round led by Spain-based investment firm La Vida es Chula (LVEC). 

The startup will use the new funds to improve its technology and products, grow its reach in tier II and III cities, and build its internal teams for the next phase of growth. It also plans to test its offerings in some international markets.

Agraga 

Agraga, a digital freight forwarder, has raised Rs 100 crore (around $12 million) in its pre-Series B funding round led by Bajaj Finserv Group.

The round also saw participation from existing investor IvyCap Ventures and select global angel backers.

Ultrahuman 

Ultrahuman, the Bengaluru-based Smart ring manufacturer, has raised INR 100 Cr ($11.2 Mn) in venture debt from Alteria Capital to support the next stage of its growth.

As the peak growth season begins, this new funding will help Ultrahuman boost innovation, expand into more markets, strengthen its sports and research partnerships, and develop new features and software-based revenue streams.

Pibit.AI 

AI-based Insurtech startup Pibit.AI has raised $7 million in a Series A funding round led by Stellaris Venture Partners.

The round also saw participation from existing investors Y Combinator and Arali Ventures. 

The funds will be used to build its Centralized Underwriting Risk Environment (CURE) and encourage more insurance carriers to adopt it. The company will also grow its product and engineering teams to support expansion over the next year.

Synthio Labs 

Synthio Labs, a voice AI company for life sciences has raised US$5 million in seed funding round led by Elevation Capital.

The round also saw participation from 1984 Ventures, Peak XV Partners, Y Combinator and several strategic angels. 

Synthio Labs plans to use the funds to grow its engineering and product teams, expand deployments in the US and Europe, and deepen its partnerships with life sciences customers.

Kaaj 

Kaaj, an agentic AI credit intelligence platform has raised $3.8 million in a seed funding round led by Kindred Ventures.

The round also saw participation from Better Tomorrow Ventures and other investors.

With this funding, Kaaj will improve its product, add more modules, and expand its customer base of lenders and brokers that support small and medium businesses.
