Ultrahuman, the Bengaluru-based Smart ring manufacturer, has raised INR 100 Cr ($11.2 Mn) in venture debt from Alteria Capital to support the next stage of its growth.
As the peak growth season begins, this new funding will help Ultrahuman boost innovation, expand into more markets, strengthen its sports and research partnerships, and develop new features and software-based revenue streams.

“We’ve built Ultrahuman on the principles of cost-disciplined growth and capital efficiency,” said Mohit Kumar, CEO of Ultrahuman. “This partnership with Alteria allows us to accelerate expansion during this key growth season while staying true to our core principles of remaining nimble and lean.”
“With growing affluence, there is a sharper focus on measurement and optimisation of health, and this is a massive global market. Mohit and his team have shown that passion, attention to detail and refined engineering can lead to successful outcomes even in difficult markets across the developed world,” said Vinod Murali, managing partner and co-founder of Alteria. “They are working on a thesis of enabling a pre-emptive approach to managing health and lifestyle, and we are excited to back Ultrahuman as it builds on this ambitious opportunity.”
Ultrahuman’s FY25 revenue was driven mainly by its US business, which made up nearly 60% of its total operating revenue of INR 564.7 Cr. Thanks to its strong US presence, the smart ring maker turned profitable, posting a net profit of INR 71.5 Cr compared with a loss of INR 37.7 Cr the year before.
However, this growth is now at risk after the US International Trade Commission’s cease-and-desist orders took effect in October, blocking the company from importing or selling its current Ring AIR model in the US.
Even with this setback, Ultrahuman says it is redesigning its smart ring for the US market, but it won’t rush the process until it gets regulatory clarity and secures the required FCC approvals to avoid further infringement issues.
Ultrahuman is building one of the most complete wearable and ambient health ecosystems in the world. Its main product, the Ultrahuman Ring AIR, offers a comfortable design and science-based insights to help users improve sleep, recovery, and movement.
With products like the M1 CGM, Blood Vision, Ultrahuman Home, and Cycle & Ovulation Pro, Ultrahuman aims to help people take early action, live healthier lives, and reach their full potential.
