At the Global Fintech Fest 2024, the Bank unveiled the prototypes of this cutting-edge wristwatch. Conceived by Noise, this revolutionary smartwatch delivers the future of payments to the user’s wrist by combining the convenience of NCMC-enabled Tap and Pay transactions with advanced lifestyle features.
This launch represents the second phase of the fruitful partnership between Airtel Payments Bank and Noise, which builds upon the initial endeavors to redefine on-the-go payments directly from their smartwatches. The potential of smart wearables is set to be further enhanced by the integration of seamless transactions into daily life, which will redefine the future of connected living. The Airtel Payments Bank Smartwatch is designed to revolutionize the payment process by providing unparalleled accessibility and convenience. NCMC integration will provide users with the convenience of tap-and-pay transactions at merchant locations, as well as NCMC-enabled transit payments across metro systems, buses, parking facilities, and more nationwide.
