Apple Appoints Kevan Parekh as New CFO

Apple has appointed Kevan Parekh as its new chief financial officer (CFO), succeeding Luca Maestri, who will relinquish the CFO position but continue to oversee the corporate services teams.

On January 1, 2025, Parekh, Apple’s vice president of financial planning and analysis, will assume the position of CFO and become a member of the executive team as part of a predetermined succession plan.

Parekh, who has been employed by Apple for 11 years, is currently responsible for financial planning and analysis, G&A and benefits finance, investor relations, and market research.

Parekh was previously responsible for the management of global sales, retail, and marketing finance prior to his current position. He initiated his tenure by offering financial assistance to Apple’s engineering, internet sales and services, and product marketing teams.

Parekh acquired extensive global experience while serving in a variety of senior leadership roles at General Motors and Thomson Reuters before joining Apple.
