The company said its new product is designed to boost user engagement and act as a companion to live sports broadcasts for its 250 million–plus users.

Dream11 had signed a ₹358 crore, three-year deal in July 2023 to replace Byju’s as the Indian cricket team’s main sponsor. The company has also been active in the IPL, with franchise tie-ups and as lead sponsor in 2020 after Vivo’s exit.

This move brings Dream Sports into the growing casual real-money gaming space, joining companies like Mobile Premier League (MPL), WinZO, Zupee, and Games24x7—many of which also offer fantasy sports platforms.

In January, the Dream11 India board approved a special resolution to merge Dream Sports Inc. with Sporta Technologies Private Limited, as per a filing with the Registrar of Companies.
