Dream11 Enters Real Money Casual Gaming with Dream Play

Dream Sports, the parent company of dream11, has entered the real-money casual gaming space with a new app called Dream Play. Back in 2021, Dream11 had denied plans to expand into money-based games like rummy.

Dream Play is listed on the google Play Store, but it also asks users to download a full version from its website. This version lets users play multiplayer, skill-based games for cash prizes, with carrom currently as the main game. In India, Google Play Store only allows fantasy sports and rummy apps, so the full version offers more features.

Players can join head-to-head matches in Classic or Freestyle modes, or compete in Mega Contests where the top scorer during a timed session wins the reward. More games like Pool are expected to launch soon. According to App Brain, Dream Play has been live on the Play Store for at least three weeks.

This move brings Dream Sports into the growing casual real-money gaming space, joining companies like Mobile Premier League (MPL), winzo, Zupee, and games24x7—many of which also offer fantasy sports platforms.

The launch of Dream Play signals Dream Sports’ intent to diversify beyond its core fantasy sports business. The company has not released an official statement yet.

Dream Sports already operates FanCode, a dedicated sports content and commerce platform offering live cricket streaming, exclusive sports merchandise, and match passes. It also runs a cricket simulation mobile game, further expanding its footprint in the sports-tech ecosystem.

Currently, there are seven apps listed under Dream Sports (Sporta Technologies Pvt. Ltd.) on the Google Play Store which reflecting its multi-platform sports strategy.
