XDLINX Space Labs, a space tech firm, has secured $7 million in a seed round anchored by Ashish Kacholia of Lucky Investments. E2MC, Mana Ventures, and an undisclosed family office also participated.
The funds will be allocated to the Hyderabad-based company to expedite the production of next-generation payloads for commercial and defense missions, such as optical and RF intelligence, E-band communications, and the operationalization of the satellite bus platform. Additionally, the company intends to broaden its global presence in the United States and the United Kingdom.
XDLINX Space Labs was established in 2022 with the goal of democratising access to innovative satellite technology and redefining space missions for a broader range of clients.
With the successful launch of JANUS-1, a software-defined 6U nanosatellite, the company has achieved a significant milestone by showcasing its multi-tenancy payload capabilities. It was launched on February 10, 2023, aboard ISRO’s SSLV-D2 rocket after being developed in a mere 10 months.
The space tech company is presently preparing to launch its next significant project, Elevation-1, which will include a miniaturized space-grade E-band payload that has been designed for launch aboard SpaceX’s Transporter-12 mission.

The XDSAT-M600 platform is used by the Hyderabad company to construct a 150 kg class satellite that is scheduled for launch in Q3 2025. The satellite will be equipped with Synthetic Aperture Radar (SAR) and multi-spectral optical sensors.
