The Top Indian Startups Funding Roundup of This Week

TransBnk

TransBnk, a banking infrastructure startup has raised $25 million in its Series B funding round led by Bessemer Venture Partners.The investment came from Bessemer’s second India-focused fund, a $350 million corpus launched earlier this year.

Altum Credo

Altum Credo Home Finance, an affordable housing finance company, has raised ₹170 crore ($19.5 million) in equity from its existing investor British International Investment (BII), the UK’s development finance and impact investment firm.

The new funds will boost Altum Credo’s balance sheet and help it expand further in southern and western India.

CredRight

CredRight, a NBFC focused on nano and micro enterprises, has raised $10 million in Series B funding led by Abler Nordic.The round also saw participation from existing backers Michael & Susan Dell Foundation and Unleash Capital.

WizCommerce 

AI-focused sales enablement platform WizCommerce has raised $8 million in Series A funding led by Peak XV Partners (formerly Sequoia India) with participation from Blume Ventures, Z47, and Alpha Wave.The new funds will help the company expand into the U.S. and speed up the growth of its AI-powered sales, commerce, and B2B payments platform.

Vutto

Used Two-Wheeler Marketplace Vutto has raised $7 million in a Series A round led by RTP Global with participation from existing investor Blume Ventures. Earlier, it had raised $1M in seed funding from Blume Ventures and angel investors, including the founders of Swiggy, OfBusiness, tracxn, BatterySmart, and SuprDaily.

Palmonas

Palmonas, a demi-fine jewellery startup has raised Rs 55 Cr (around $6.2 Mn) in a Series A funding round led by Vertex Ventures Southeast Asia & India (SEAI). The company plans to use the new funds to boost its 9kt gold demi-fine collection, open 100 new stores over the next year, and enter new product categories.

Enmovil

Enmovil, an enterprise supply chain startup has raised $6 million in a funding round led by Sorin Investments, a venture capital firm started by former KKR India chief Sanjay Nayar and Caravel Group CEO Angad Banga. The round also saw participation from Capria Ventures and Twynam.

Peeko

Babycare quick commerce platform Peeko has raised $3.2 million in a seed funding round led by Stellaris Venture Partners. Other angle investors including Maninder Gulati, former chief strategy officer at OYO; Kunal Bahl undefined Abhishek Goyal, cofounder of tracxn; Nitin Gupta, founder and chief executive of Uni; and Arjun Vaidya, cofounder of V3 Ventures, also participated in this round.

The Bengaluru-based company will use the funds to improve its products, expand its supply, and hire new staff.

SAVE Microfinance

SAVE Microfinance, part of the rural financier SAVE Group has raised $3 million in funding through non-convertible debentures (NCDs) from Impact Investment Exchange’s (IIX) women’s livelihood bond 7 (WLB7).

The funds will be used to reach more underserved communities, especially low-income women entrepreneurs, by giving them better access to affordable loans and livelihood opportunities.

Wastelink 

Wastelink, a cleantech startup has raised Rs 27 Cr (around $3 million) in its Series A funding round from early stage investment firm Avaana Capital.The startup will use the new funds to improve its technology, enter new categories, expand to more regions, and start exporting its products.
