SAVE Microfinance raises $3 million from IIX’s WLB7

SAVE Microfinance, part of the rural financier SAVE Group has raised $3 million in funding through non-convertible debentures (NCDs) from Impact Investment Exchange’s (IIX) women’s livelihood bond 7 (WLB7).

The funds will be used to reach more underserved communities, especially low-income women entrepreneurs, by giving them better access to affordable loans and livelihood opportunities.

The company also aims to improve its balance sheet, expand funding sources, and grow sustainably while focusing on responsible lending, financial literacy, and inclusive growth.

SAVE Group was founded by Ajeet Kumar Singh, Pankaj Kumar, and Ajay Kumar Sinha, SAVE Microfinance offers microcredit in rural India, with a focus on women. 

In May 2025, ‘SAVE–The Roshni Project’ was launched at AcuVision Eye Centre. The initiative will provide free cataract surgeries to underprivileged people who cannot afford quality eye care. It is part of the CSR program of SAVE Microfinance Pvt. Ltd., under the SAVE Group.

Impact Investment Exchange (IIX) says it has mobilized over $500 million in private capital, impacting 160 million+ lives across 60 countries through gender-focused and climate-aligned investments.
