Drivn
Drivn, an electric mobility platform, has secured financing commitments of up to $80 million from Nomura.
The company said the funding, mainly in the form of senior secured debt with some equity, will be released in two phases and used to deploy nearly 1,000 electric buses and heavy trucks across India’s intercity transport routes and industrial logistics hub.
The Whole Truth
Clean-label health food brand The Whole Truth has raised about $51 million in a funding round led by Sofina and Sauce.vc.
The funding round included both primary and secondary capital. Existing investors like Peak XV Partners, Rainmatter Health, and Ayra Ventures also took part. The company’s early investors include Z47, which was earlier known as Matrix Partners.
Varaha
Varaha, a climate tech startup, has raised $45 million in its Series B funding round, led by WestBridge Capital.
The newly raised funds will be used to expand into new regions, improve its scientific and monitoring (MRV) capabilities, and grow a new industrial partnership model.
JJG Aero
JJG Aero, an aerospace components manufacturer, has raised $30 Mn (INR 275 Cr) in its Series B funding round from investment firm Norwest.
The new funds will mainly be used to build JJG Aero’s upcoming facility in North Bengaluru, improve vertical integration, and support other key projects.
ZILO
ZILO, a fashion quick commerce startup, has raised USD 15.3 million (around INR 140 crore) in a Series A funding round led by Peak XV Partners, which invested $8 million.
Existing investors InfoEdge Ventures and Chiratae Ventures reinvested USD 2.5 million each. The round also included Alteria Capital, Stride Ventures, and several angel investors from the startup and consumer internet space.
Loop AI
Loop AI, an enterprise AI platform, has raised $14 million in a Series A funding round led by Nyca Partners.
The round also included investments from Gokul Rajaram, Base10, Afore Capital, Converge, Alumni Ventures, Data Tech Fund, John Pepper, 9Yards Capital, and Operators Studio. As part of the deal, Osama Bedier, investment partner at Nyca Partners and former google and GoDaddy executive, will join Loop AI’s board.
Loop AI will use the new funding to expand its products and hire more employees at its offices in New York, San Francisco, Tampa, and Bengaluru.
Material Depot
Interior design and home decor startup Material Depot has raised $10 million (about INR 90 Cr) in a Series A funding round co-led by Accel and Stellaris Venture Partners.
The funding round also saw participation from Whiteboard Capital, DeVC, Soma Capital, MyAsiaVC, along with multiple angel investors.
Fibr AI
Fibr AI, a AI-native martech startup, has raised $5.7 Mn (about INR 52 Cr) in a seed funding round led by existing investor Accel.
Other investors in the round included WillowTree Ventures, MVP Ventures, and several angel investors.
The startup plans to use the new funds to improve its AI and product features, grow its customer base, and hire talent across engineering, product, marketing, and sales roles.
Good Monk
Good Monk, a Preventive nutrition startup, has raised Rs 33 crore in its Pre-series A funding round at a valuation of Rs 175 crore.
The funding round was led by RPSG Capital Ventures and included Sharrp Ventures and Hyperscale Ventures, the family fund of Dot & Key founder Suyash Saraf. It also saw participation from the families of founders Amarpreet Singh Anand and Sahiba Kaur.
Dr. Doodley
Dr. Doodley, a Pet healthcare startup, has raised $3.3 million (Rs 30 crore) in a Pre Series A funding round, a mix of equity and debt, led by V3 Ventures.
The round also saw participation from Campus Fund, Thackersey Family Office, and angel investors, including 360 ONE Wealth founders Yatin Shah and Karan Bhagat and Dalmia Bharat Group MD Gautam Dalmia.
The funding round included ₹20 crore in equity and ₹10 crore in debt.
