[Funding News] Oncare Raises $1 Mn in Seed Funding Round from Huddle Ventures

Oncare, a cancer startup, got $1 million in preliminary funding from Huddle Ventures. Institutional investors TRTL Ventures, Cloud Capital, and DeVC also participated.

The funds would be used to open 10 new centers in Delhi NCR, Bangalore, and Jaipur over two years. The cash will also be used to expand the team and promote the brand’s inexpensive cancer treatment solutions.

Oncare, founded in 2023 by Deepak Kumar and Amar Sneh, is creating oncology wings at 50-100-bed hospitals. By partnering, Oncare can cut treatment expenses by 40%.

The brand claims to offer a low-cost, high-quality alternative to corporate hospital cancer treatments that cost over Rs 10 lakh. It also provides on-call nursing support to help cancer patients manage side effects and anxiety without unneeded hospital trips.
