Shraeyansh Thakur, an investor at Peak XV Partners, has left the firm after nine years to pursue his dream of starting a company. He made the announcement on LinkedIn, mentioning his long-held desire to build a business.

The quick scale-up programme Surge by Peak XV for early-stage companies has announced that its 10th cohort will begin in India in October. August 15, 2024 is the deadline for applications. The Surge project will end in October in the United States.

Piyush Gupta, managing director of Peak XV Partners, is reportedly departing the company at the end of this month. Sources close to the situation claim that Gupta is launching a fund with a secondary focus after leaving Peak XV.
