Mela Ventures, a well-known venture capital firm, has named R Kalyan Sundar as its new Head of Finance and Legal.

Emerald Technology Ventures and Mela Ventures led a $4 million Series A investment for INDRA, a manufacturer of smart water treatment equipment. The Climate Angels and Peak Sustainability Ventures also participated in the financing.

Pre-Series A funding led by Mela Ventures has brought in Rs 20 crore for SimYog, a platform for EMI/EMC monitoring and simulation. IdeaSpring, a previous investor, and 1Crowd also participated in the round.

Viju George, a seasoned investment analyst in the technology sector, joins Mela Ventures as a full-time partner.

Axilor Ventures and Mela Ventures have invested $1.2 million in Doppelio, a provider of a test automation platform for the Internet of Things (IoT).

Intugine Technologies Pvt. Ltd said that it has received pre-series A funding of Rs 19 crore (about $2.2 million), headed by Mela Ventures, the ventu
