[Funding alert] CleanTech Platform INDRA Secures $4 Mn Series A Round Funding

Emerald Technology Ventures and Mela Ventures led a $4 million Series A investment for INDRA, a manufacturer of smart water treatment equipment. The Climate Angels and Peak Sustainability Ventures also participated in the financing.

Emerald Technology Ventures and Mela Ventures led a $4 million Series A investment for INDRA, a manufacturer of smart water treatment equipment. The Climate Angels and Peak Sustainability Ventures also participated in the financing.

Up to 99% of the treated water can be recovered using INDRA’s plug-and-play patented water treatment system, which requires 90% less space than other systems. It can be used independently or in conjunction with currently available water treatment technologies.

Amrit Om Nayak, Co-Founder and CEO, INDRA, said, “Solving the wastewater treatment challenge needs continuous innovation and relentless commitment. With its flexible and unique solutions, INDRA can address industrial needs while meeting the quality standards set by environmental and regulatory authorities worldwide. The conventional technique is inefficient due to excessive chemical use, sludge production, and environmental impact.

About INDRA

INDRA, which was co-founded in 2017 by Amrit and Krunal, uses a patented electro-chemical oxidation and coagulation technology to handle the complicated challenge of water treatment in the industrial and sewage segment.
