Strategic early-stage venture capital firms that participated in the round, which was led by Gruhas, Nikhil Kamath, and Abhijeet Pai's VC, included The BarberShop with Shantanu, Raisers Edge, WFC, Capital-A, Dezerv Innovation Fund, ICE.VC, and well-known angel investors.

Proxgy, a deep tech startup, has raised $2 Mn (INR 16 Cr) in a pre-Series A round of funding, which was led by LetsVenture, Planify Angel Fund, Mach Tech Fund, Cogniphy Angel Fund, Madhuram Papers Family Office, and AKGVG & Associates, as well as its current investors. Infusions from primary and secondary funds were combined in the funding round.

First Cheque@Jungle, a programme to invest at least $2 million as seed funding in early-stage startups, has been launched by Singapore-based Jungle Ventures.

InsuranceDekho, a marketplace for insurance, secured $60 million in its current Series B funding round from Mitsubishi UFJ Financial Group and BNP Paribas Cardif, two of Japan's largest financial services companies.
