Direct-to-consumer (D2C) snack company Slurrp Farm, supported by Anushka Sharma, secured around Rs 60 crore ($7.2 million), in a funding round headed by philanthropist Narotam Sekhsaria's family office and investor Alkemi Growth Capital.
The Delhi-based startup's current backers, Fireside Ventures and Raed Ventures, participated in the round as well. With this financing, Sharrp Ventures, the Mariwala family's investment company, also joined, as reported by The Economic Times.

Alkemi Growth Capital and Madhurima International, each committed Rs 17.5 crore, whereas Fireside Ventures invested Rs 12.4 crore, per regulatory documents submitted with the Registrar of Companies (RoC).
Slurrp Farm is an innovation-focused company that produces scientifically proven food solutions with a traditional knowledge base.

Anushka Sharma joined Slurrp Farm as an investor and brand ambassador in April 2022.
