Online edtech platform Winuall has raised Rs 17 crore (over $2 million) in funding from Dream Incubator, Inflection Point Ventures, Prime Venture Partners, BEENEXT and other angle investors.
The startup plans to use the funds to enhance product and technical capabilities, work in leadership roles, and grow the business of the marketplace by adding more creators, content suppliers and educators.
The Bengaluru-based Winuall was founded in 2019 by Ashwini Purohit, and Saurabh Vyas, It is a SaaS-based plug-and-play, a subscription-based social commerce platform that allows teachers to share a wide range of curated courses on their students' online education platforms.

It helps coaching institutes to go digital by providing content and recommendations to improve performance.
The platform enables tutors to sell their content and services to a wider audience and earn more.
“We are break-even and on track to make our marketplace business profitable in the next three months. We are humbled by the massive adoption of our platform across India and we are now excited to double down on building the company,” said Ashwini Purohit, chief executive officer of Winuall.
It claims a 100% MoM increase in the adoption of its social commerce platform in the last six months and teachers have seen a 50% increase in their income.
The startup said that it has sold over 35,000 courses, content-pieces in the last four months alone and has raised over Rs 38.5 crore so far.
The startup aims to achieve $100 million GMV annually by the end of 2023.
In October 2020, Winuall had raised $2 million (Rs 14.7 crore) in funding round from Prime Venture Partners, BEENEXT, Ramakant Sharma, Founder, Livspace, and other angel investors.
