Recently, AIC-RMP through its BRIDGE series for stakeholders of innovation brought together Manuj Jindal; CEO, Zila Parishad Thane District, Maharashtra who joined as the Chief Guest and Marie Louise Pollmann- Larsen; Project Manager/ Chief Consultant at DTU Skylab as the Guest of Honour with the Governing board of AIC-RMPconsisting of Ravindra Sathe; Director AIC-RMP, Shri Arvind Rege; Treasurer RMP and Uday Wankawala; CEO AIC-RMPalongwith mentors Dipesh Mohile; Managing Partner, IIA Ventures and TarunMapara; Senior Consultant.
The main purpose of the programme was to strengthen cooperation, address global ideas, opportunities and challenges, and move towards strategic partnership forging a sustainable future. It enabled start-ups unique offerings/solutions to elevate the impact created to bridge the gap between enablers and beneficiaries. AIC-RMP startups namely Ocaamy Biosciences, T &T Solutions, Elemeno, WEMY and a graduated start-up Kwiqreply shared their solutions specific to Animal Husbandry, sanitation, Education & ICT domains.

Chief Guest Manuj Jindal; CEO Zilha Parishad addressed the forum speaking about AIC-RMP’s core ‘अंतःप्रेरणा’ which means inner motivation and self-inspiration with the focus on periodic insights that would motivate the youth to unearth their entrepreneurial potential in creating a social impact. He appreciates the efforts of AIC-RMP & work of its startups / Incubatees and how these startups can solve real on-ground problems. Guest of Honour; Marie Louise Pollman- Larsen; Chief Consultant DTU Skylab from Denmark spoke about DTU being the interdisciplinary hub for innovation for technology-based innovation, it’s an educational research and DTU Skylab’s innovation programme.
Uday Wankawala; CEO AIC-RMP in his introductory remarks shared the initiatives taken by AIC-RMP to create and promote the culture of innovation and entrepreneurship for different stakeholders and the impact it has created so far of forming a strong community of 200+ Founders, 70+ mentors, 40+ partners. Ravindra Sathe; Director, AIC-RMP briefed participants about RMP, AIC-RMP philosophy and importance of various activities contributing to ‘AtmaNirbhar Bharat’ movement.

Thane being the third most industrialised district in the state can identify innovation gaps to solve problems collectively and can find innovative capacity. To jointly work towards promoting innovation and entrepreneurship amongst the aspiring entrepreneurs through impactful ‘The BRIDGE alliance was truly progressive from various angles with focus on innovation across multiple sectors.

AIC-RMP having its right ecosystem in place, access to markets, mentorship, integrated business planning, customer research and extended product innovation to solve problems can support entrepreneurs within Thane district in developing, testing and running pilots with start-ups working on solutions like water sustainability, drainage, empowering SHGS working towards social impact where this partnership upholds a great potential.
