[Funding alert] Foodtech Platform TWF Flours Raises Rs 12 Cr Funding From Zerodha’s Rainmatter

Foodtech platform TWF Flours has raised around Rs 12 cr ($1.4 mn) in funding from Rainmatter, a venture fund supported by Zerodha.

According to cofounder Pranjal Kumar, ET was informed that TWF Flours has raised about $2 million in total to this point, including this pre-Series A round of funding.

A healthier, nutrient-rich flour is promised by TWF Flours' unique milling method. In addition to providing restaurants with specialty bread, it directly retails through its website and other e-commerce channels.

It has previously received seed funding from well-known figures in the startup industry, including Sharath Longanathan, cofounder of Ninjakart, Shan Krishnaswamy, cofounder of Freshworks, and Rajaraman Santhanam, cofounder of Chargebee.

TWF Flours intends to stand out in a crowded market by providing better taste and value. The fact that Rainmatter invested shows how confident they are in the startup's ability to expand in the food tech industry.
