EV ride-hailing startup BluSmart is in discussions to raise $50 million (around Rs 425 crore) in a Series B funding round. This will be the second time the company has raised funds in the past six months.

In a funding round headed by its current backers, BluSmart, a ride-hailing service that exclusively utilises electric vehicles, raised $24 million, or Rs 200 crore.

Climate finance firm ResponsAbility invested $25 mn in the electric vehicle (EV) ride-hailing company BluSmart. The company plans to use the funds to develop its electric vehicle (EV) charging system.

In a recent equity round, BluSmart Mobility, an electric ride-hailing mobility service and EV charging platform secured $24 million.

Zephyr Peacock and Lets Venture have invested $5 million in battery recycling firm BatX Energies. The family offices of Mankind Pharma, Excel Industries, and BluSmart, as well as current investor JITO Angel Network, took part in the funding round.
