Why myTpen?
MyTpen was born when, during the second wave of the COVID-19 pandemic, Shariq noticed a challenge that most teachers were facing a problem. This problem was the laborious and time-consuming procedure of manually marking examinations on digital platforms.
All these experiences sparked a game-changing idea in his mind. He started considering that the pen and the keyboard have always been the most wanted and valuable tools for a teacher.
He thought, why not create a Digital solution that makes the simple city and comfort of offline grading while also providing the extra benefits of automation? This is how myTpen was born.
The Journey Behind Startup-
The journey of myTpen started in December 2021 when Shariq began working on developing a web-based platform that will allow technology to adapt to teachers making the grading process more straightforward.
All this was not as easy as it looked because even before this he was enjoying a flying career. Leaving that career and taking such a decision was very challenging, specially at the time when he didn't know what would happen next.
But he was determined to solve this problem. This is how he left his corporate career and started his entrepreneurial journey, launching his startup, myTpen.

Reaching new heights:
The Grading App, which came out only four months ago, was shown off at EDUtech Asia 2023 in Singapore and got a lot of praise for making teachers' jobs easier and saving them time.
Shariq started the business by himself, but now it has nine people from India, Saudi Arabia, Pakistan, Singapore, and other places. This company is focusing on getting in touch with potential clients. This was founded by with the mission of giving back teachers their precious time and building technology that adapts to humans.
The best part of his story is that Shariq easily could ignore the issue and enjoy his high-flying career, continuing his corporate job. Still, instead of doing this he decided to bring a change, addressing the issue.
Hats off to Shariq for leaving his easy path behind and choosing a more challenging one.
