upGrad appoints Deepesh Dhakad as Chief Product and Technology Officer

Edtech company upgrad has appointed Deepesh Dhakad as its Chief Product and Technology Officer (CPTO), effective October.

Dhakad will manage upGrad’s entire product, design, and technology operations across both learner and enterprise divisions, focusing on innovation, scalability, and improving the global user experience, the company said today.

He has nearly 20 years of experience with top consumer tech companies like Amazon, flipkart, unacademy, and most recently games24x7. He has built and grown digital platforms serving millions worldwide, led large teams across product, design, engineering, and analytics, and driven growth using data-driven experiments and AI-powered innovations.

“upGrad stands at a pivotal moment where technology is not just an enabler but the engine powering our next phase of growth.
