French Brand Alcatel Partners With Flipkart To Sell ‘Made In India’ Smartphones

French tech brand Alcatel is making a comeback in India’s mobile phone market after seven years, announced a strategic retail partnership with Flipkart for its return. 

Managed by TCL Communication, Alcatel will sell its locally made smartphones through Flipkart and its quick delivery platform, FK Minutes.

The brand also plans to set up a nationwide service network for customer support. It will soon launch premium smartphones with stylish French design.

This partnership is aimed to grow Alcatel’s presence in India and says its “Make in India” phones will offer modern features and stylish design, targeting tech-savvy users in big cities as well as smaller towns.

The partnership of flipkart with Alcatel comes as it faces scrutiny from the Competition Commission of India (CCI) over its exclusive product launches with brands like Samsung and Xiaomi.
