Wishlink, a creator-focused e-commerce firm, has raised $3 million in a round of seed funding headed by Elevation Capital. Angel investors and creators took part in the round as well.

A number of angel investors, including Vidit Aatrey and Sanjeev Barnwal from Meesho, Rahul Chaudhary from Treebo, Ankush Sachdeva from Sharechat, Ghazal Alagh from Mamaearth, and content producers Masoom Minawala and Biswa Kalyan Rath, among others, also participated in the round.

With a continuous 60% month-to-month rise in users over the past three months, Wishlink claims to have brought close to 2 million users to partner brands, as per reported by The Economic Times.

"We are believers in the power of creators to influence consumer behaviour. Till now, their influence and distribution were limited to one-off paid collaborations with brands. We have built the infra that will enable creators to pick up brands they genuinely believe in and monetise their influence based on the sales and traffic they are able to drive to the brands' websites," said Shaurya Gupta, cofounder of Wishlink.

Wishlink, a company founded in 2022 by Chandan Yadav, Shaurya Gupta, and Divyansh Ameta, enables social media artists to drive brand commerce through their custom multi-brand stores.

“The mechanism to divert traffic effectively from creator content to brand websites was not easily available. The team at Wishlink is solving this problem with a tech-first approach and we have seen phenomenal results over the past few months,” said Anurag, head of direct-to-consumer ecommerce at FabAlley, one of Wishlink's first partner brands.

For more than 60 businesses, including H&M, Westside, Faballey, Indya, Aurelia, Wrogn, Libas, and G.O.A.T Labs, as well as e-commerce sites like Amazon, Flipkart, and Ajio, Wishlink now drives traffic and sales, as per reported by The Economic Times.

“We are believers in the potential of the creator economy to empower individual creators and influencers. However, unlocking this requires building platforms that target deep pools of revenue and therefore opportunities for them, like commerce. We’re certain that Wishlink will be a pioneer in this space,” said Amit Aggarwal, principal, Elevation Capital.
