[Funding alert] Online Music Education platform Artium Academy raises $3 mn led by Chiratae Ventures

Chiratae Ventures, together with other early-stage investors like Anicut Capital, Jet Synthesis, and Whiteboard Capital, have invested $3 million in Artium Academy, an online music learning and community platform.

In this fundraising round, a number of well-known entrepreneurs took part, including Madhusudhan R (Co-Founder, M2P Finance), Priyamvada Balaji (Executive Director - Lucas Indian Service), Varun Alagh (Co-Founder, Mamaearth), Piyush Shah (Co-Founder, InMobi Group), and Vikas Dosala (Co-Founder, Fraazo), as per reported by The Economic Times.

Ashish Joshi, Vivek Raicha, and Nithya Sudhir co-founded Artium Academy in 2022 to provide music education using cutting-edge methodology and technology to raise the level of learning and performance for students.

“Our vision is to make music learning more relevant, participative, and engaging where a user can take the journey of a learner to a performer to a potential influencer with our music tech platform. We are building AI based assessment and prescription tools to aide efficient learning and performing, thereby offering qualitative pedagogy to the learners globally, stated Ashish Joshi, founder and CEO, Artium Academy.

With the use of cutting-edge technology and modern pedagogy to enrich the learning experience, Artium delivers GOLD STANDARD in music education.

“This capital will help us accelerate our plans to develop new offerings and expand into newer markets, especially to the diaspora population outside of India. It will also allow us to invest in product and content led organic channels for learner acquisition,” stated, Vivek Raicha, co-founder, Artium Academy.

Online music courses and classes are provided by Artium. Sonu Nigam, KS Chithra, Shubha Mudgal, Aruna Sairam, Louis Banks, Gino Banks, Raju Singh, and Aneesh Pradhan, who have joined Artium as faculty leaders for several courses, created and accredited these courses. Ananth Vaidyanathan, the foremost voice expert in India, has joined as the Academy's Chief of Pedagogy.
