Google Launches ‘Google for Startups Accelerator’ Program for Indian Apps

Google has introduced the Google for Businesses Accelerator: Apps initiative, specifically aimed at providing assistance to Android app businesses in India.

The program is a three-month mentorship project that will offer selected entrepreneurs help in areas such as product development, technology, security, and user growth.

Google will offer a comprehensive 3-month mentorship to 20 qualified app companies as part of the initiative. The chosen startups will receive customized guidance to enhance their product experience, technological strategy, and security measures, and expand their user base.

The program places a significant emphasis on providing companies with the necessary AI expertise and capabilities. Participants would be granted access to Google’s artificial intelligence models and knowledge, in line with the government’s objective of providing training to 10,000 Indian startups in the field of AI.

Android app startups have the opportunity to submit an application for the Google for Startups Accelerator: Apps program. The application period is currently open and will conclude on August 15th. The program commences in September.
