Vahan.ai Secures Funding to Strengthen Blue-Collar Recruitment Platform

AI-powered blue-collar recruitment platform Vahan.ai has raised an undisclosed amount of funding from Tokyo-based PERSOL Group.

The startup plans to use the new capital to strengthen its AI technology, expand its operations and grow its business in areas like manufacturing and retail.

Madhav Krishna, co-founder and CEO of Vahan.ai, said,  “By combining our AI-driven solutions with PERSOL’s deep expertise in workforce management, we aim to scale our technology, expand into new sectors and create a more inclusive and efficient employment ecosystem.”

In September 2024, Vahan.ai raised $10 million in a Series B funding round led by Khosla Ventures, founded by Vinod Khosla. Y Combinator, US-based VC firm Gaingels, and Paytm Founder Vijay Shekhar Sharma also participated.
