The Top Indian Startups Funding Roundup of This Week

Pee Safe 

Pee Safe, a women’s hygiene and wellness brand, has secured $32 million in a funding round from OrbiMed, a global healthcare-focused private equity firm. 

The funding round consisted of a combination of primary capital and secondary sales by early investors.

The company plans to deploy the capital to scale its offline retail presence, strengthen marketing effortsn and expand its reach across quick commerce platforms and marketplaces.

Sukino 

Sukino, the out of hospital healthcare chain, has raised $31 million in its Series B funding round led by Bessemer Venture Partners.

The round also saw participation from zerodha’s Rainmatter.

The new funding will mainly be used to expand into new locations. Sukino plans to open 22 centres over the next two years.

Emversity 

Emversity, an edtech startup has raised $30 million (INR 271 Cr) in a Series A funding round led by Premji Invest, with participation from Lightspeed and Z47.

The startup plans to use the new funds to grow its healthcare and hospitality training programmes, expand into new areas like infrastructure-based EPC and manufacturing, and improve its technology systems.

Wint Wealth

Wint Wealth, an online bond portfolio platform (OBPP), has raised INR 250 Cr (about $27.7 Mn) in its Series B funding round led by Vertex Ventures SEA and India.

The round also saw participation from from existing investors 3one4 Capital, Eight Roads ventures, Arkam Ventures and zerodha’s Rainmatter. Wint Wealth said it will use the capital to expand its range of corporate bond offerings, capitalise its NBFC arm, which currently has assets under management (AUM) of INR 200 crore, strengthen investor education initiatives, and scale its technology and operations to achieve deeper market reach.

EtherealX 

ngaluru-based EtherealX, a spacetech startup has raised $20.5 Mn (about INR 185 Cr) in a Series A funding round led by TDK Ventures and BIG Capital.

The round also saw participation from Accel, Prosus, YourNest Venture Capital, BlueHill Capital, Campus Fund and Riceberg Ventures.

With this round, the startup’s valuation increased 5.5 times to $80.5 million.

RISA Labs

RISA Labs, a Healthcare AI startup has raised $11.1 Mn (over INR 100 Cr) in a Series A funding round co-led by US-based VC firms Cencora Ventures and Optum Ventures.

The round also saw participation from Oncology Ventures, Z21 Ventures and John Simon, cofounder of General Catalyst, through his Ventureforgood entity.

The fresh capital will be used to expand the distribution of RISA’s system to cancer clinics, health systems, specialty pharmacies, and infusion networks across the US.

CloudSEK 

Cybersecurity startup CloudSEK has raised $10 million in its extended Series B funding round, with participation from Connecticut Innovations (CI), the venture capital arm of the US state of Connecticut.

In a statement, the startup said the Series B2 round included a mix of primary and secondary capital. With this raise, it claims to have become the first Indian-origin cybersecurity company to receive funding from a US state-backed fund.

Truva 

Truva, a resale homes platform, has raised INR 78 Cr ($8.6 Mn) as part of its latest funding round in a mix of debt and equity led by existing investor Stellaris Venture Partners and Orios Venture Partners.

Out of the total funding, $7.3 million (around Rs 61 crore) came from equity, while $1.7 million was raised as venture debt from Stride Ventures.

Bluecopa 

Bluecopa, an AI-native finance operations automation platform, has raised $7.5 million in Series A funding round led by Singapore-based Analog Partners.

Existing investors Blume Ventures and Dallas Venture Capital also participated in this round.

This brings the total funding, with contributions from top founders and finance leaders, to US$11.6 million.

The funds will be used to improve Bluecopa’s autonomous finance products and grow its presence in APAC, North America, and the Middle East. The company will also develop specialized AI models for finance teams managing large numbers of transactions.

Atomgrid 

Atomgrid, a leading speciality chemicals platform, has announced that it has raised a total of $7 million Pre-series A funding in a mix of equity and debt to expand its global footprints and accelerate product development.

The equity round was led by A99, an early stage venture capital firm focused on the manufacturing sector. The round also witnessed participation from new investors Sadev Ventures, CDM Capital and existing investors, Merak Ventures. Prior to the fresh round, Atomgrid raised $1.25 million in May last year.
Along with the equity, Atomgrid has also raised debt from venture debt funds and banks including Trifecta, SIDBI and RevX.
