Ashneer Grover, a former CEO of BharatPe, has raised seed funding for his newest startup, Third Unicorn Pvt Ltd, which he launched with his wife Madhuri Jain. With an app named CrickPe that is specifically focused on cricket, the new venture will be fantasy sports-focused.

The venture, which debuted shortly before the Indian Premier League (IPL) got underway the next month, will target the expanding real-money gaming market and will be in direct competition with companies like Tiger Global-backed Dream11 and others, as per reported by Business Today.

Ashneer Grover stated on LinkedIn last month: "We at Third Unicorn have quietly and peacefully built a business that is shaking the market. Bootstrapped. Without limelight. And we are doing things differently. Very differently."
Aseem Ghavri, an executive at Dubai-based blockchain services company BlockTech Brew, as well as Grover's wife, are the other co-founders of the new gaming app.

Ashneer Grover also showed a slideshow about his new business and mentioned that it has only 50 members at the moment. He claimed that he had pledged to offer Mercedes to those who had worked with Third Unicorn for five years. He said, "Gratuity to bezzati liye hoti hai."
