In a post on X (now Twitter), Chandan Raj, the founder and CEO of Suresh Chips and Semiconductor Pvt Ltd, the first semiconductor company in Bihar, stated that starting a business in the state was the “worst decision” he had ever made.
“Worst decision of my life to start a company in Bihar,” Chandan Raj wrote on Platform X.

The startup founder referred to Bihar as “The land of frustration” and stated that it is difficult for semiconductor and very-large-scale integration (VLSI) companies to do well in the state.
