The disparity in work culture between men and women has substantially decreased over the past few years. In every conceivable field, women are now walking step-by-step and rising shoulder-to-shoulder with males.
The ‘Women Entrepreneurship Program’ has been launched by the National Skill Development Corporation (NSDC) in partnership with Britannia Industries, in a groundbreaking initiative to empower women entrepreneurs and drive economic development. The objective of this program is to provide women with the necessary knowledge, skills, and networking opportunities to achieve success in the corporate world.
There is a remarkable increase in the number of women-led enterprises in India’s startup scene. The percentage of women-led enterprises has increased from 10% to 18% between 2017 and 2021, as indicated by Women in India’s Startup Ecosystem, a Wiser’s report.

The grand finale of the program will feature the top 50 contestants presenting their innovative business concepts to a distinguished jury. Each of the top 10 contestants will receive a grant of INR 10 lakh from Britannia Industries, which will serve to further strengthen their entrepreneurial spirit and excellence.
In addition to providing financial grants, the partnership with Britannia Industries also promotes the products and services of participants on the Skill India Digital Hub, thereby perpetuating an inclusive environment for female entrepreneurs.
