What Do Investors Look for When Evaluating a Startup | Startup Pitch & Funding | Saurabh Sharma

Saurabh Sharma, a startup investor, was born in Jodhpur and had his early education and upbringing from Sriganganagar. After this he completed his graduation in commerce stream from Jodhpur. After doing his MBA degree and PGDBA diploma in Mumbai, he worked in multinational companies – J. P. Morgan, Tower Capital and after that moved from Mumbai to Jaipur in 2006 to start something of his own.

Saurabh Sharma made many efforts and experiments to do something of his own, in which he got an opportunity in the software stream, which he used well and developed some mobile applications, in this way Saurabh tried something new apart from his stream.

After this, he started to feel that instead of applying his knowledge in different sectors, he should expand his knowledge in a particular segment and after that he gradually increased his steps around 2012 in the healthcare sector in which he also had interest.

As an Investor Saurabh Sharma would like to tell the investors that an investor should invest in a startup keeping in mind the abilities of the founders of the startup, their business idea, their process and their competitors. Saurabh Sharma says that a startup should present its business to the investors in a short & summarize manner because the first level of interaction proves to be good for any business.
