GVFL and other strategic investors have provided $1.2 million in funding to Video SDK, a company specializing in live video infrastructure, to advance the future of live video through the use of generative AI, advanced video compression, and media routing technologies.
Video SDK intends to use the raised funds to conduct further research, development, and improvement of their audio and video conferencing protocols and infrastructure, as well as their interactive live streaming capabilities. Their ultimate goal is to create a virtual infrastructure that closely mirrors reality, as per reported by Entrepreneur.com.

To do this, we are using generative AI, compressing audio with neural encoder-decoders, and upscaling video resolution from lower resolution to higher resolution on the fly. Video SDK’s main features include two-way media streaming based on QUIC, as well as global media packet routing that is machine learning-driven and uses customized congestion control algorithms. They are especially made for delivering massive amounts of media with minimal delay.
